Its been long frozen time without you
Without you holding me tight
in your strong arms yet with the
warmth and tenderness of a blossoming flower;
Your soft, caring touches and emotion in your voice
Still sends a chill running up my spine;
I can still feel your presence, the
fragrance in your breath;
Then, comes the awful realization
and salty drops of overwhelming emotions
emerge out from my eyes
taking away with it
the debris of shattered dreams
I miss you
I miss those soothing winds and strolls
We used to make in the woods
in those starlit nights;
But, now I wonder
you are one of those countless stars
twinkling brightly in the sky
and in my heart
promising love forever
I know you are still alive
