Love's calligraphy...


Late at night I awaken
seeing you beside me
a sigh of joy fills my heart
my fingers
of their own accord
move to your chest
gently
so as not to wake you
they write love's calligraphy
across your body...

Tracing their way down...
pausing
at your navel
circling circling
my mouth bends toward you
kissing, licking softly
my finger moves again
and writes toward your center
leaving my name and yours
in the runes of Eros
on your body's terrain...

I mark you as my own
leaving my sigils and knots
to protect you
for the coming day...

My voice whispers in your ear
telling you of the depth of my love.
My foot slides up your leg, caressing
arousing you in your sleep...

You moan my name
your eyelids flutter
your eyes open slowly
a smile lifts your lips...
you groan softly
embracing me.

The moon's pearlescent rays
fall across us through the window
lighting my way to your hard center
my tongue softening your groans
into moans...

You pull me to you rolling me over
and all thoughts of the coming day
are lost, dispersed, forgotton
in the eternity of this moment.
My spirit slept until the time that your kiss
awakened me to this life of love a year ago.
I never understood till now
timeless eternity...
