Whispered Kisses

I like how simple thoughts
Slip into the mist of dreams
Where smells and exotic
Flavors of sex
Dwell on the edge of my senses
Reminding me gently
Of a different world
Where an instant in time
Abducted by memories
Opens a window
To escape
Into the reality
Of our fantasy.

Drunken daydream muse
Given to savor
Sweet recollection
Driven by images
Where touch became journey
Soaring high
On whispered kisses
With no destination
Nor hesitation
Taken selfishly
To the highest place.

A willing departure
From ordinary
Intoxicated by
Mere proximity
Lubricated by a lust
Spoken silently
As smoldering looks
Betray even the most casual
Of glances

I like how simple thoughts
Leave me breathless
As though your kissing
Through my depths
Intent on stealing
My breath away
First rough
Then tender
To my limits
With a gentle touch
Of whispered kisses.
